inner Rhythms

Inner Rhythm, Outer Space" is an experimental 8 week workshop series that brings together sound, visual art, writing and movement in a playful and process-oriented way.

The course forges creative connections between physical rhythms (heartbeats, breathing patterns, etc.), external space and the pulse of our imaginations. Using deep and embodied listening as a point of entry into creative translation, participants will have the opportunity to try new forms of artmaking and nurture their unique, artistic voice and vision.

Artists of all backgrounds and levels of experience in beat-making, drawing, writing and movement are encouraged to participate. The objective of the class is to find pleasure in playing with new disciplines, learn the art of creative translation and share inner visions in a connective, rhythmic and supportive outer space.

In this workshop, amateurism is highly valued, mistakes are generative and uncertainty opens up space for limitless possibility.
