The Pick Up Artist

An investigative project that probes into the world of Pick Up Artists. This is a community of primarily cisgender men who practice a codified set of strategies, many of which promote manipulation and misogyny, for the purposes of attracting potential partners. I aimed to expose and challenge the tactics used by this movement and understand the conventions of support that exist within this space by posing as an undercover male pickup artist and aspiring life coach.
